Description
Debuting with Luca Ceruti at last year's Red Bull King of the Air and cracking the 40 m mark with Hugo Wigglesworth on a hydrofoil, the SONICāµ is engineered for maximum lift, control, and progression in big air performance. Big Air is not coincidence - itās precision, commitment, and mindset in every take-off, trick and landing.
Built for riders who donāt ask if, but how far, it turns focus and discipline into performance.
More height. More airtime. More control. Train harder and up your game.

Wind Range Kitefoil
The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs.) Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type (twintip or hydrofoil) and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a kite size, always use common sense and repeatedly choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.

Features
Aero-Balance Construction

The Aero-Balance construction pairs a high aspect ratio with a refined cell structure to deliver maximum performance without compromising control. The profile inflates quickly and evenly across the full span, providing stability and reliability even in strong winds or demanding launch conditions. The result is improved accessibility, faster steering response, and more predictable handling during jumps and loops.
FlowArc Wingtip

The FlowArc Wingtip refines airflow around the tips, enhancing flight behavior in loops and recovery phases. Its curved shape and precise profiling generate additional lift, delay flow separation, and deliver smooth, accurate control throughout the turn. Every loop feels more progressive, controlled, and intuitive. Whether landing or downlooping, the FlowArc Wingtip reinforces the SONICās character ā powerful, yet predictable.
CCB - Cord Cut Billow

The Chord Cut Billow is an aerodynamic feature that refines airflow over the leading edge of our foil kites. Precision cuts, or ābillows,ā are strategically placed to smooth airflow, reduce turbulence, and compensate for surface irregularities. This results in lower drag, improved turning performance, and reduced backstall.
Air Intake Line

Spanwise lines across the air inlets optimize airflow to the leading edge and keep the inlet structure stable by holding the rigid nose foils in position. This ensures faster inflation and earlier control across the full wingspan during launch. In stronger winds, the kite maintains its shape longer, flies further toward the edge of the wind window, and delivers more efficient depower.
Improved Heliloop Performance

The redesigned wingtips create smoother, rounder loops that catch you gently and slow your descent. Perfect for controlled landings and safe progression during high-risk Heliloop maneuvers.
More Jumps Per Session

Efficient upwind performance, low drag, and responsive handling help you return to your take-off point faster. That means more airtime, more attempts, and faster trick progression in every session.
Easier Landings

Refined steering geometry improves how the kite catches you after tricks. It softens impacts, enhances stability, and gives you confidence to land cleanly ā even after technical rotations or loops.
Extended Hangtime

The SONICāµās high-lift profile delivers maximum hangtime. Stay in the air longer, gain valuable seconds for your tricks, and enjoy softer, more controlled landings with every jump.
