Description
The CONNECT³ Control Bar is a lightweight and highly versatile control system designed for touring, progression, snowkiting, and adventure-focused riders. Built around FLYSURFER’s unique convertible 4-line and 5-line architecture, it allows riders to switch between the Frontline Safety (FLS) system and the B-Safe system in just a few steps, making it compatible with kites such as the PEAK, HYBRID and VIRON. The B-Safe system provides an additional level of safety by gathering the kite on a dedicated fifth line, bringing it down without generating power. Adjustable 14 m and 21 m line configurations, a color-coded EVA-covered bar stick, customizable steering line settings, and an extended depower range allow the CONNECT³ to adapt to a wide variety of conditions and rider preferences. Completing the package is the proven SMART Quick Release, which is AFNOR-approved and ISO-compliant, delivering reliable safety and functionality across water, land, and snow. B-Safe system
The CONNECT³ Control Bar is designed for kites equipped with the B-Safe system. It features a 4-line FLS system that can easily convert to a 5-line setup in just a few steps. Upon release, the control bar moves up along the 5th line, safely gathering the kite and bringing it down without generating power. The B-Safe system requires a high front-line split (high Y) and a low-drag, thin line to maximize handling. The PEAK is B-Safe system ready. Fly the HYBRID only on the 4-line FLS setting.
Color-coded bar stick
The CONNECT³ bar stick is color-coded for easy orientation: orange on the left and blue on the right. The front and back are clearly distinguishable thanks to a continuous beige design element. The ergonomically shaped bar stick is protected by an EVA grip, offers exceptional comfort. Its non-slip surface ensures a secure hold, even in wet or cold conditions. Availiable in sizes [S] 47 cm [M] 52 cm [L] 60 cm.
Adjustable depower line
The CONNECT³ is optimized for the PEAK and HYBRID with a 45 cm depower line that provides an ideal balance of control and comfort. To adapt to different conditions and teaching environments, the bar can be configured with either 14 m or 21 m flying lines. Steering line settings can be fine-tuned via the adjustment knots beneath the floaters, while the Clam Cleat trim system offers an additional 20 cm of depower range for enhanced versatility and control.
Smart Quick Release
The proven and reliable push-away Quick Release complies with the French standard (AFNOR/ISO compliant) and ensures the required release force for a quick and safe release. The ergonomic release handle is easy to operate and ensures reliable activation in an emergency. Developed for use on water, land, and snow.
