Roderick Pijls is a Dutch kitesurfer who turned his passion into a profession and has been chasing wind ever since. Growing up along the North Sea coast, he learned to ride in demanding conditions that helped shape his versatile approach to the sport. From freestyle and wave riding to racing, wingfoiling, and parawinging, Roderick enjoys exploring every side of wind-powered watersports. For him, every session is an opportunity to learn, progress, and have fun on the water.

Over the years, Roderick has travelled the world in search of wind, waves, and new experiences. Among all his adventures, one moment stands out above the rest: sharing the water with a whale and her calf for 15 minutes in Mauritius.
