
Jannis Maus
Jannis Maus discovered kitesurfing in 2006 and quickly found his passion in racing. Just four years later, he competed in his first World Cup event and has been dedicated to Formula Kite ever since. After joining FLYSURFER in 2016, Jannis established himself as one of Germany’s most successful kite racers, combining years of experience, determination, and a deep connection to the sport. Today, he continues to compete at the highest level while sharing his passion for wind-powered performance on and off the water.

Jannis is a five-time German Champion, World Champion, and represented Germany at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where he finished 5th. Beyond competition, one of his most memorable experiences was kitesurfing alongside humpback whales off the coast of Maui.
