The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs.) Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type (twintip or hydrofoil) and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a kite size, always use common sense and repeatedly choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.

Aero-Balance Construction
The Aero-Balance construction pairs a high aspect ratio with a refined cell structure to deliver maximum performance without compromising control. FlowArc Wingtip
The FlowArc Wingtip refines airflow around the tips, enhancing flight behavior in loops and recovery phases. Its curved shape and precise profiling generate additional lift, delay flow separation, and deliver smooth, accurate control throughout the turn. Every loop feels more progressive, controlled, and intuitive. Whether landing or downlooping, the FlowArc Wingtip reinforces the SONIC’s character – powerful, yet predictable.
CCB - Cord Cut Billow
The Chord Cut Billow is an aerodynamic feature that refines airflow over the leading edge of our foil kites. Precision cuts, or “billows,” are strategically placed to smooth airflow, reduce turbulence, and compensate for surface irregularities. This results in lower drag, improved turning performance, and reduced backstall.
Air Intake Line
Spanwise lines across the air inlets optimize airflow to the leading edge and keep the inlet structure stable by holding the rigid nose foils in position. This ensures faster inflation and earlier control across the full wingspan during launch. In stronger winds, the kite maintains its shape longer, flies further toward the edge of the wind window, and delivers more efficient depower.
Improved Heliloop Performance
The redesigned wingtips create smoother, rounder loops that catch you gently and slow your descent. Perfect for controlled landings and safe progression during high-risk Heliloop maneuvers.
